Hi Everyone,
I forgot to mention in my earlier update that Santa visited AWSC last night and delivered Christmas bags to all the crew and left them hanging on the bedroom doors. Filled with a bunch of goodies they were well received by all.
The remainder of the afternoon was spent relaxing and doing as little as possible. Some of the more energetic went out again for another ski and board, but overall it was a pretty relaxed afternoon. It also started to snow this afternoon and is still snowing so hopefully will be a good day tomorrow. We did dinner downstairs and all the staff got stuck into operation “christmasize the lounge” at .300pm and within an hour it looked like we were in a totally different place. It’s a bit hard to describe in words how good it looked so check out some of the pics on the photos page.
Dinner began at 6.30pm and after a couple of hours of solid eating everyone took a breath, leant back on their chair, undid the top button and tried to make room for more dessert. With a couple of monster turkey's, half a cow, a whole pig plus enough veggies including pumpkin, potatoes, cauliflower, carrot and peas to start our own green grocer and dessert of apple crumble and chocolate ripple cake it's no wonder everyone was feeling stuffed. AWESOME job Emma, your hard work was appreciated by everyone.
Straight after dinner we did our Kris Kringle and as usual there were some very amusing gifts and some which had been given a lot of thought. The boys discovered the shop ‘ San Francisco ' downtown which is always good for some hilarious gifts, also a couple of R rated ones as well. There was the odd blow up appendage, a few edible pieces of underwear and heaps of other funny gifts.
Pinky today goes to our very own “pink mistletoe fairies” being Amy, Laura and Brighid. They were very creative with their costumes and as such deserve pinky tonight.
Only a short evening update today, we’ll get the remainder of the pics and movies up online over the next couple of days.
Until tomorrow.
Stowie
